During daytime, I go shopping in some malls and markets for some great buys like clothing, bags, accessories and food. And at night, I always make it to a point that when I get back to my hotel room, I am exhausted and tired so that I can immediately fall asleep. What makes me enjoy my night life in Hong Kong are some of the great pubs that are filled with so many tourists and locals and sometimes they have catching promotions too.
One of my favorite night life place in Hong Kong are the streets of Wan Chai. The area has been known for its naughty reputation ever since the 1940’s. Today, it still exists and many British style pubs and girlie bars are still present. Other hang out places are Mes Amis, Delaney’s and Joe Bananas which are inhabited by sports fanatics especially during weekends because they feature sports shows on television and the crowd enjoys watching their favorite players or team play while chatting and drinking with the others.
Another is the Hong Kong Brew House which is famous for brewed beer as well as lager like Hong Kong lager, Too Soo and Aldridge Bay Pale. What is good about this pub is that it is open all throughout the day and features high stools and tables for crowds to enjoy drinking their beer. They also have big screen TV for viewers who are fan of sports. Usually, you can see people especially men drinking beer and nibbling on some peanuts while enjoying live coverage sports games or matches. I usually order a platter of New York clams combined with beer broth. What a delicious complimentary food to go with brewed beer. Men would definitely love this place because there is a Men’s Room which has sound system, plasma, Cuban Cigar and wine. And sometimes these pubs have promotions so many tourists flock to these areas.
Hong Kong is not only about shopping or sight seeing because there is also the night life which you can surely enjoy. There are many busy pubs on the streets of Hong Kong where you and your friends can go and hang out. They attract many tourists with their one of a kind deals and promotions so expect that most of the places are really crowded. But I recommend you to try and check them out if you have time.
